This Extended Solution allows for the specification of a numeric mask of up to six decimal places for the Unit Price field, and up to five decimal places for Quantity and Cost fields for the Miscellaneous Items used in the Accounts Receivable module. These masks will be used for field entry in Invoice Data Entry and Repetitive Invoice Entry and for display in Invoice History Inquiry.

Before installing any Extended Solution, please verify that the version level referenced on your installation file is the same version level as your Sage 100 (MAS 90 MAS 200) installation. (For more information please call (800) 425-9843). It is recommended to have a complete and tested backup prior to installing any application on your Sage 100 (MAS 90 MAS 200) platform.

If you have Sage Extended Solution IM-1114; Expanded Numeric Mask for price/Cost/Quantity installed and enabled when you set up this Extended Solution for the first time, the decimal precision will default from your IM-1114 setup.

You should visit this Setup screen after each upgrade or reinstallation of this Extended Solution.

Miscellaneous Item Maintenance, Accounts Receivable Invoice Entry, Repetitive Invoice Entry, and Invoice History Inquiry of an Invoice whose source is A/R will use the masks specified in Setup. The definition of the Unit Price, Cost, Quantity and Amount field masks used by Crystal Reports are not modified by this enhancement and may need to be changed.

If the Miscellaneous Item Maintenance option to ‘Allow use in Sales Order’ is selected, be aware that the number of decimal places for ‘Standard Unit Price’ and ‘Standard Unit Cost’ may not agree with the standard MAS90 Inventory Options. It is possible that these values will be rounded when the Miscellaneous Item is selected for use in Sales Order.

Upgrades and Compatibility

The installation CD is labeled with the version of the MAS 90 MAS 200 module for which this Extended Solution was prepared. This Extended Solution will check its compatibility with the appropriate MAS 90 MAS 200 modules and will be disabled if an incompatibility is found. If you upgrade your MAS 90 MAS 200 modules, this Extended Solution must be upgraded as well. Your MAS 90 MAS 200 dealer can supply this upgrade.
